About Us
Our
Story
Well, that's an interesting couple of photos above!
I have had a truly blessed life that has taken me all over the world. After graduating in biochemistry, I went on to gain advanced degrees and then changed direction completely becoming a golf professional - so I can 'name-drop' with the best of 'em!
Searching for greater purpose (not to mention less self-focus), I answered God's call and was ordained as a priest in the Anglican Church. I served as Deacon, Associate Priest, and finally as Vicar of The Anglican Parish of Wakatipu (2017-2023). I continue to strive to serve God's kingdom to the best of my ability.
Along the way I got pulled into marathon running and have used that to support charities such as Autism Australia, Riding For The Disabled, Mobility Dogs, CanTeen, The Steve Williams Foundation, and others. I have also helped many great people fulfil their ambition of running a marathon.
None, NONE, of the above would be possible without the unstinting love and support of the great woman in my life - my wife, Kim. A constant source of wisdom and support.
The on-going focus of our lives, our ministries and this website is to serve God's flock wherever we can and - as it says right on the first page ...
To proclaim the kingdom of God
and teach the things
concerning the Lord Jesus Christ
will all boldness unhindered
(var. Acts 28:31)
Kim and David are blessed to live in Queenstown on the South Island of Aotearoa\New Zealand
