Third after Pentecost

I suspect we are all in favour of love, hospitality, forgiveness, and non-violence until we meet the unloveable, the stranger who scares us, the unforgivable act, the one who throws the first punch. Then it’s a different story and that story usually begins with, “But hang on a moment … first….”
